Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush announced this week a relaunch of his campaign and it seems his super Pac is stepping its spending to encourage the campaign to take-off.
From what we were able to gather from campaign expenditure reports, it appears the super Pac is launching a targeting ad campaign aimed at the Republican base. It has spent close to $7 million in ads on Fox News Channel alone. It also spent nearly $20k on producing the TV commercials.
While it is not clear which ads were developed by the super Pac, it did launch a recent ad on YouTube promoting Jeb Bush’s nickname “Veto Corleone.” The nickname comes from the “Godfather” movie and switches the “Vito,” the main character of the movie, with “Veto.” According to the Ad, Jeb was given the nickname for his tendency to veto several line items on government spending proposals.
